We are a voluntary organisation that was set up by statute by local authorities and run by a group of local residents to act on behalf of our area. As we are the most local tier of elected representation, we play an important role in local democracy and work together in finding ways of improving the area.

We represent all people in the community and act without prejudice. We advise, petition, influence and advocate numerous causes and cases of concern on behalf of our community.
